Twitter confirmed its latest direct message interface upgrade on Friday, Sept. 30.
For the past few years, experts already know how slow the online platform is when it comes to new features for Android.
For example, Twitter's iOS and web versions already received the "search" feature for DMs.
However, it took years before the Android mobile platform received this functionality.
But, the wait is over as Android users can finally have a refreshed DM interface.

With this new upgrade, many tech enthusiasts claimed that the refreshed DM version would bring the Android experience on par with the iOS interface.
Twitter Android DM Enhancements
Tech Crunchrecently provided the exact enhancements released by Twitter for its DM Android version.
These include a better tweet forwarding feature, an improved composer, as well as context for message requests, and clearer read receipts.
The updated DM is expected to offer better responsiveness and overall performance with these enhancements.
When it comes to the actual design, Android users will no longer have a box-shaped interface.
On the other hand, the three-dot menu has been replaced with the Settings symbol.
