Apple will be inviting Hollywood stars to its upcoming streaming video service launch. The event will be held in its California headquarters at Cupertino, on March 25. High profile celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner, and Jennifer Aniston, who partake in making original shows for Apple, will be attending the event.

Apple has been investing billions in producing original shows for distribution via the Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad. It has already hired producer Ronald Moore "Battlestar Galactica", director M.Night Shyamalan "Glass", and Director Damien Chazelle "La La Land", and has also signed production deals with Oprah Winfrey, Sesame Workshop ("Sesame Street" Creator) and director Steven Spielberg.

No name was mentioned yet for Apple's long-awaited online streaming video service. But it will be joining in the race competing against Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and entertainment giants such as Disney and Warner Media, who wants the piece of the action.

There have been debates and mixed reports about the pricing model. According to CNBC, Lions Gate Entertainment, CBS and Viacom are anticipated to offer subscription streaming services on the Apple platform. They are going to offer the content for free to users of Apple's TV app. Whereas, Bloomberg reported that Apple will offer its original video programming as part of a paid subscription service.
